Val Pusteria
Val Pusteria (German Pustertal) is located in the North- Eastern part of South Tyrol and it’s divided in Lower Val Pusteria, Middle Val Pusteria and Higher Val Pusteria. The mountain resorts located in Lower Val Pusteria are located at the border with Valle Isarco and along the “Sunny Route”. An example is the Italy ski resort in Maranza. Middle Val Pusteria designs the region around Brunico, the valley most important city. Higher Val Pusteria designs the easternmost part of this holidays region and here are located the famous Dolomites ski resorts of San Candido, Sesto, Villabassa, Braies. Val Pusteria is one of the most important Italy vacations destinations in South Tyrol in winter and in summer, as here are located many skizones as well. An example is the Plan de Corones, near Brunico. Every South Tyrol mountain resort in Val Pusteria is popular among hikers in summer as well!
